Going Bananas

NEW YORK—The top bananas of New York’s art world attended a dinner at the New Museum of Contemporary Art on Tuesday, held by Banana Republic to celebrate its Summer 2008 collection and its partnership with the museum. Last Friday at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the O Property Collection honored Zaha Hadid, one of several architects commissioned to design O Property’s own banana republic, the Dellis Cay resort on the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean.
