A First Look at ADAA’s The Art Show

NEW YORK—This year’s edition of The Art Show, the annual art fair organized by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), opens with a Gala Benefit Preview the evening of Wednesday, February 20, and remains open for business February 21 through February 25, at the Park Avenue Armory in New York. While many galleries lean toward more conservative work—as opposed to what you’ll find at the more cutting-edge Armory Show scheduled for March 27–30—The Art Show has been somewhat less stodgy since Roland Augustine of Luhring Augustine gallery took over as president of the ADAA in 2006.

ARTINFO has selected ten works for sale at this year’s fair for a behind-the-scenes preview. You’ll find everything from old masters to blue-chip modernists to prime contemporary works, brought to you by many of the country’s most well established dealers. Click on the photo gallery to the left to whet your appetite and get a jump on the competition.
