Bronze Star

PARIS—Laos-born dealer Christian Deydier, 57, who specializes in Oriental bronzes, has relocated his gallery—newly named Galerie Christian Deydier—from the fringe of Paris’s Left Bank to 30 Rue de Seine, joining several high-powered colleagues nearby such as Jacques Barrère and Alain de Monbrison. The opening show, on view through March 15, consists of just seven Chinese works priced from €300,000 ($444,000) to upwards of €1 million ($1.5 million), including a pair of nielloed-bronze Warring States–period taotie masks, a Shang Dynasty zun vase and a Northern Qi–period bodhisattva.
