LONDON—A painting by the Rolling Stones guitarist
Ronnie Wood will be auctioned this week to raise money for the
Royal Academy of Arts, the BBC reports. Wood, who has exhibited his art around the world since the 1980s, will be the guest speaker at the auction to "support artists through the Royal Academy Schools so people like me can continue to be inspired by new talent." The sketch depicts Royal Ballet stars
Carlos Acosta and
Darcey Bussell and will join works donated by
Tracey Emin,
Mary Fedden, and
Ken Howard.
