The Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program has announced its 2007 grants. A total of $300,000 has been awarded to 16 authors, in amounts ranging from $7,000 to $35,000. The grants were selected by a six-person panel or professionals in the field.

The 2007 grantees are: Debra Balken, Benjamin Carlson, Elizabeth Finch, Leanne Goebel, Bruce Hainley, Robby Herbst, Gary Indiana, Sonia Katyal, Liz Kotz, Glenn Ligon, Richard Meyer, Sharon Mizota, Barbara Pollack, Felicity Scott, George Slade, and Jim Supanick.

The 2008 grant calendar will be announced on March 10.
