Meet Jeff Koons

NEW YORK—One lucky bidder will win a meeting with art world superstar Jeff Koons today. The Hereditary Disease Foundation, which supports biomedical research in order to cure genetic illness, is auctioning a “Jeff Koons experience,” which includes a lunch date and tour of the artist’s New York studio by the sculptor himself for up to four people.

Proceeds from Koons’s donation, carrying an estimated value of 5,000, will go to the foundation, which has given over $50 million to develop new treatments and cures for genetic diseases.
