NEW YORK— With
Tim Noble and Sue Webster's Electric Fountain unveiled only last week in Rockefeller Center, plans have already been announced for the site's next public art project, the
New York Times reports.
Chris Burden will install a 65-foot skyscraper in the center's Channel Gardens. The skyscraper, entitled
What My Dad Gave Me, will be comprised of over one million pieces, all of them steel facsimiles of the parts of an Erector set. The
Public Art Fund is sponsoring the installation, which will run from May 28 to July 13.
