American Academy of Art and Letters Announces 2008 Art Award Recipients

NEW YORK—The American Academy of Arts and Letters has announced the names of nine artists who will receive its 2008 awards in art, to be presented at the Academy's annual ceremony in May. Llyn Foulkes, Eric Holzman, Judith Linhares, Gordon Moore, and Susan Smith will receive Academy Awards in Art; Charles Long will receive the Award of Merit Medal for Sculpture, Anna Conway the Willard L. Metcalf Award in Art, Mark Greenwold the Jimmy Ernst Award in Art, and Marc Trujillo the Rosenthal Family Foundation Award in Painting.
