Royston Griffee, the Lord Mayor of Bristol, has penned an open letter to the city's most famous graffiti artist, Bansky, in hopes that he will donate a work to the mayor's charity for underprivileged children, reports BBC News.
The work would be sold in an auction set to take place in May, and while Griffee is asking for donations from other individuals, as well as corporations, he said the Banksy work would be "top of the list". The mayor added, "I've always thought he was a fantastic artist."
