MOSCOW—Next week Sotheby's will take a preview of works to be sold at its May 14 and 15 auctions in New York to an upscale shopping mall in Moscow, reports Bloomberg. It is the first time the auction house is using only contemporary work to target Russian buyers.

The 30 works to be shown, worth more than $30 million, include a giant steel caterpillar by Jeff Koons with a high estimate of $6.5 million, a Nurse painting by Richard Prince expected to bring in up to $4.5 million, and a Warhol self portrait estimated at $2–3 million. They'll be on view April 23 to 27.

The venue, the Barvikha Luxury Village, offers Russia's new superrich such luxuries as Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Six months ago it hosted a contemporary show organized by Gagosian Gallery.
