LONDON—Eurostar and the National Gallery have teamed up to make art masterpieces available to the commuting public, the Press Association reports. An interactive digital art gallery entitled "Station Masters" has been launched in the Eurostar departure lounge at St. Pancras International station.

Travelers can sit at one of six touch-screen coffee tables, search a digital database, and select the picture they want to view. The database includes 100 paintings, among them works by Leonardo da Vinci, Rubens, Titian, Caravaggio, and Monet. After a painting is selected, it shows up on one of six free-standing plasma screens placed inside the brick archways of one of the lounge walls.

"Now some of the most historic paintings in Britain can also be re-enjoyed and re-examined in a totally new way," said Simon Montague, Eurostar's communications director.
