LONDON—Top-tier artists including Peter Doig, Chris Ofili, Antony Gormley, and Yoko Ono have all agreed to contribute works to an auction celebrating the 60th anniversary of London's Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Financial Times reports.

The auction will also include a portrait by Howard Hodgkin of ICA director Ekow Eshun and a group caricature of British artists by Jake and Dinos Chapman, as well as contributions from the estates of Andy Warhol and Robert Mapplethorpe. The sale will take place at Sotheby's London in October and is expected to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for the institution.

"These are artists who have all had significant relationships with the ICA," said Eshun. "We invested and believed in these artists at early points in their career, and now, years down the line, they are helping us."

Today the ICA kicks off "Nought to Sixty," a series of short solo shows highlighting 60 young British and Irish artists, also to mark the anniversary.
