LONDON—The Royal Festival Hall, part of the Thames-side cultural complex the Southbank Center, has received £16.5 million ($32.5 million) from the National Lottery, Bloomberg reports via the Arts Council England. They money will be used to finish paying for the hall's refurbishment and to boost programming efforts.

The festival hall reopened last year after a £111 million restoration, which was partly funded by lottery money. Additions included the installation of a new walkway along the river and the opening of more restaurants and cafes.
