New Offices for Linda Pace Foundation

SAN ANTONIO—The Linda Pace Foundation has announced the opening of new offices in San Antonio, the first step in the organization’s creation of a permanent space in the city for the presentation of the Linda Pace Collection.

Linda Pace, who died in July 2007, was an an artist, art collector, and philanthropist best known for founding Artpace, San Antonio. Her collection contains more than 500 works by contemporary artists from 1960 to the present, including Willem de Kooning, Olafur Eliasson, Isaac Julien, Richard Tuttle, and Rachel Whiteread. The foundation’s eventual display space will also present works acquired since Pace’s death.

The foundation has also unveiled two new acquisitions by Daniel J. Martinez.
