EDINBURGH—The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh will undergo a £46.4 million renovation, the Daily Express reports, leaving the museum's Victorian building closed until 2011. Among the planned features of the renovation are a redesigned entrance hall, 16 new galleries, the creation of a larger special exhibitions gallery, and a new learning center. The museum's modern building, built in 1988, will remain open to the public.
