Focusing on encouraging and supporting young artists in Germany, the annual prize of €20,000 ($30,900) is awarded by the German cooperative banks (Deutsche Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken) The winner will be announced on July 1, and an exhibition of the winner's work, curated by Bettina Klein, will be on view at the Kunstverein Heilbronn from November 7 to December 12.
