NEW YORK—The Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program has opened the application process for its third round of grants. The program, which is part of the Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Initiative, awards individuals writing about contemporary visual art with project-based grants that range from $3,000 to $50,000. Categories open for the current round of grants are articles, short-form writing, and blogs/new and alternative media. Winners in 2007 included Barbara Pollack, Gary Indiana, and Richard Meyer. The deadline for applications is September 22, 2008.
