PARIS—Galerie Kréo?s new 3,700-square-foot abode—the largest design space in Paris, according to its owner, Didier Krzentowski?comprises two floors of a 17th-century town house on the Rue Dauphine in the heart of St.-Germain-des-Prés. The inaugural show, opening on September 12, features new works by familiar names, including a wood and resin coffee table from the Dutch designer Hella Jongerius, a clever coatrack made of oak and metal nails by Naoto Fukasawa, of Muji fame, and superstar Marc Newson?s Carbon ladder—perfect for today’s home library. Prices range from about €2,000 to €150,000 ($3,200–$238,000). “Each piece involves real design research,” Krzentowski emphasizes—a policy that has earned him such high-profile clients as Christie’s owner François Pinault, the American hotelier Ian Schrager and the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
