LOS ANGELES—The J. Paul Getty Trust has announced more limited opening hours and an increase in parking fees.

Whereas previously the Getty Center remained open until 6 p.m. on Sundays and Tuesdays through Thursdays and until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, it will now close on each of those days at 5:30, except Saturday, when it closes at 9 p.m. The museum remains closed on Mondays.

The hours at the Getty Villa will not be changed.

Although both museums remain free, the parking fees at both locations are increasing from $8 to $10.

The changes go into effect on September 9.
