Kicking Off Fall

NEW YORK—The fall season in New York got underway last night with gallery openings all over Chelsea. The ARTINFO team was out in full force, visiting shows throughout the neighborhood. Among them:

- Andres Serrano's "Shit" at Yvon Lambert, which runs through October 4
- Keith Tyson's "Fractal Dice" at PaceWildenstein, also up through October 4
- Young-Hoon Ko at Gana Art, through October 11
- "Photographs" by Jane Hammond at Galerie Lelong, through October 11
- Kwang-Young Chun's solo show at Robert Miller Gallery, through October 11
- Jean-Marc Calvet's "Redemption" at Monkdogz Urban Art Gallery, through October 4

Other highlights of the night include the opening of "Tickle the Shitstem," Phoebe Washburn's new show at Zach Feuer Gallery, and Chris Johanson's "Totalities" at Deitch Projects in SoHo.

Update, September 9: We've added seven new photos to the gallery, including a number from four more openings: Peter Mallo's new show, "Odyssey," at Walter Randel Gallery; DJT Fine Art's exhibition "Warhol's Politics"; Camille Rose Garcia's "Ambien Somnambulants" at Jonathan LeVine Gallery; and "Bends Back On," a show of work by Robert Dupree and Claudia Saimbert at Number 35 Gallery on the Lower East Side.
