NEW YORK—Last month we suggested a handful of new shows to start the New York season. Not a single one disappointed, so we thought we’d offer a similar list for the city’s second round of openings, over the course of the new few weeks. By contrast with the somewhat pessimistic mood that dominated last month’s shows, this time we’ve selected a rather more diverse list, with everything from urban frenzy to painterly whimsy. Enjoy!
