Japan is the focus of the 12thedition of
Paris Photo,which is set to attract 40,000visitors to the
Carrousel duLouvre from November 13through 16. BelievingJapanese photography to beunderpriced and poised for aboom, the fair organizers haveinvited 14 galleries from Tokyoand Osaka, 8 of which showcontemporary work exclusively.In all, more than half thefair’s 86 dealers are showingJapanese material, at pricesranging from €2,500($3,600) for small (22-by-17-centimeter) color prints from
