WURZBURG, Germany—The German city of Würzburg has presented the French artist François Morellet with its first Peter C. Ruppert Prize for Concrete Art in Europe, reports the Süddeutsche Zeitung via Artforum. The prize is worth €15,000 ($19,000) and will be bestowed every three years on an internationally recognized representative of the Concrete Art movement.
