New Jersey Performing Arts Center Receives $11 Million GiftBy ARTINFO

NEWARK, New Jersey—Philanthropist Betty Wold Johnson has given the New Jersey Performing Arts Center a gift of $11 million, reports the New York Times. The bulk of the gift — $8 million — will go toward maintenance of the center and updated technologies, while the remaining $3 million will go to artistic initiatives.
