The New Museum and Elizabeth Peyton are adding a new portrait of future First Lady Michelle Obama to the exhibition "Live Forever: Elizabeth Peyton." The painting will be unveiled today on the museum's fourth floor; this is the first time the work will be on public view.

"Please join us in celebrating as we look forward to rousing changes both large and small," the museum said in a statment.
