Published: November 11, 2008
VIENNA—After receiving 350,000 visitors for its blockbuster van Gogh exhibition since it opened September 5, Vienna's Albertina museum has extended its hours for the last four weeks of the show, on view through December 8, reports Der Standard.

The exhibition will now be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with the exception of two Tuesdays, November 18th and 25th, when it will close at 7 p.m.

The museum had already extended its normal hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wedesdays) by an hour or two every day.

Organized with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the exhibition includes 50 paintings and 100 drawings and watercolors from the artist, on loan from over 60 lenders worldwide.

The largest van Gogh show in Austria for more than a century, museum officials predict it will become the most-visited museum exhibition in the country's history.
