Sienna Miller stars in a new music video for the band The Hours, directed by Damien Hirst.
Damien Hirst has art-directed a music video for his old friends the British indie group
The Hours, starring it-girl
Sienna Miller and showcasing, if not his artworks, at least his aesthetic, reports the
Guardian.
In the seven-plus minute video, directed by American History X director Tony Kaye, Miller plays a suicidal mental health patient who wanders through a Hirst-tastic landscape of glass vitrines, cow carcasses, and medical instruments, clad only in a hospital gown.
Hirst met the band's singer, Antony Genn, in the mid-1990s and has been a supporter of his music and career since. He not only contributed artwork to The Hours' first record, Narcissus Road, in 2001, and to their forthcoming EP, See the Light, but has also founded a record label, Is Good, to promote their music.
