Burglars broke into the private Montana Club in Helena this weekend and stole four pieces of art as well as three computers, reports the Associated Press. According to Helena Police detective Richard Drysdale, the four works are a painting by Marcel Duchamp; a print and a painting, The Land Before God, by Charles M. Russell; and a bronze sculpture called The Scribe. The break-in occurred sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning and was reported Sunday afternoon. The total loss is valued at nearly $40,000.
