LOS ANGELES— On January 10, as part of Photo LA 2009, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) invited five area artists to talk to LACMA curator and photography department head Charlotte Cotton about contemporary photography publishing. Conversations and book signings were held with David Maisel, Diane Keaton and Marvin Heiferman, Bruce Davidson, and Susan Meiselas; others on hand at the event included photographers Alexey Titarenko, Joel-Peter Witkin, and Jill Greenberg.
