All hail the power of positive thinking. When New Yorkers Scott Zieher and Andrea Smith sent an e-mail about their gallery’s upcoming move within Chelsea, they quelled any downsizing rumors by including an image of a 2007 drawing, by ZieherSmith artist Tucker Nichols that proclaims: "Business Is Great." A few blocks away, at Jack Shainman Gallery, Jonathan Seliger’s 2003 piece bearing the message "No Discounts" graces the back room. What’s next — auction-house façades trumpeting "Record-Breaking Sales Inside"?
