PARIS—Mar. 25: Robert Lebel Collection 75 lots sold for €1,986,450 ($2.7 million) Top lot: A study by Parmigianino for his 16th-century masterpiece Madonna with the Long Neck, which calls the Uffizi home, brought a whopping €780,750 ($1.1 million), a record for a drawing by the Italian artist. The stunning, fresh-to-market piece belonged to Robert Lebel, who, up until his death in 1986, pursued a wide array of art world interests, serving as an Old Master specialist for the French auctioneer Maurice Rheims, writing the first biography of his friend Marcel Duchamp, and pioneering Eskimo-art collecting.

LONDON—Top lot: Commissioned by Napoleon’s sister, this circa 1814 cherrywood bookcase adorned Versace’s bedroom in his Lake Como villa before going on the block, where it fetched £601,250 ($842,892), almost three times its high estimate.
