NEW YORK— The International Art & Design Fair, scheduled for Oct. 2–7 here, has been canceled, reports the Antiques Trade Gazette via Artnet, but London-based fair organizers Brian and Anna Haughton say it will be back next year. Meanwhile, they have also called off New York's Asian Art Fair, which had been scheduled for next March. According to the Gazette, the Haughtons "almost certainly lost money" on the International Fine Art Fair that was on view at the Park Avenue Armory in New York in early May 2009. Last year’s design fair, its eighth installment, presented 40 exhibitors.
