Richard Prince Wraps Hong Kong Museum in the Name of Vuitton
Published: May 22, 2009
The project, in the vein of Prince's "After Dark" series, is one of Hong Kong's first public art installations. It marks the start of a summer exhibition at the museum titled "Louis Vuitton: A Passion for Creation," which features work by a host of contemporary artists, including Prince, Basquiat, and Koons, and runs today through August 9. The building covering, which took a week and more than 20 people to install, will stay up throughout the exhibition. |
