Antiquing in Paris
Published: June 10, 2009
PARIS—The art spotlight these days is on Europe, and not just Basel and Venice but Paris too, where the Carré Rive Gauche antiques fair ran June 5–7. This year's event boasted 120 dealers with wares ranging from porcelain and tapestries to African art and 21st-century furniture. ARTINFO visited Carré Rive Gauche on its opening night, June 4, when all the participating galleries kept their doors open late and let visitors stroll through.
