MONACO— The Mediterranean isn’t the only thing sparkling at the French Riviera principality of Monaco. On July 27 and 28, Artcurial hosts its annual fine jewelry sale at the Hermitage Hotel. Among the gems on offer are a silver cross pendant by Yvi Larsen, a French jeweler favored by the ’70s jet set (est. €1,500-2,000; $2,000-2,700), and a 44.52-carat aquamarine ring in a ruby and diamond setting by the contemporary Italian designer Marguerite Burgener (est. €9,000-10,000; $12-14,000).

Next up, on the 28th and 29th at the Café de Paris, is Tajan’s auction of 600 lots, including a circa 1910 pearl, gray-gold, and sapphire necklace from the collection of Queen Elena of Savoy (1873-1952), who married King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy when she was 23, and a turn-of-the-century necklace comprising more than 50 carats of diamonds (est. €150-200,000; $204-272,000). On the 28th, the house has organized a sale of men’s accessories culled from two collections — one Swiss, one French — with such highlights as an enameled silver pen decorated with a dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit (est. €1,000-1,200; $1,400-1,600). And on July 30, Tajan’s sale of modern and contemporary art and design will feature works by Albert Marquet and Raoul Dufy.
