65 lots sold for €353,000 ($490,000) COLOGNE—Top lot: A rare bark-and-wood Congolese box in the form of a Mangbetu woman stole the show at the house’s annual auction devoted to tribal art. The 21-inch container, which is typically used by men to store precious objects, brought €66,000 ($88,000). "In Brief: Lempertz" originally appeared in the July/August 2009 issue of Art+Auction.
