61 lots sold for €1,862,000 ($2.6 million) PARIS—Top lot: Two circa 1922 ceiling lanterns constructed partially from ostrich shells extended designer Eileen Gray’s recent hot streak at auction, bringing a combined €440,000 ($540,000). The one pictured was the more expensive of the two highly decorative lamps, selling for €240,000 ($336,000) — double its high estimate of €120,000.
