Getty Center Reopens After Brushfire Forced Its Closing

The midweek fire consumed 80 acres of land, but no damage was reported to the Getty's structure or grounds, and there was never any danger to the J. Paul Getty Museum’s collection. The blaze was 90 percent contained by Wednesday evening after it was sparked accidentally by a weed-abatement program, fire authorities said. Read more at the Los Angeles Times.
