BRIDGEHAMPTON, N.Y.—As things quiet down for the summer, the New York art world escaped from the city this weekend to stage a kind of last hurrah out of town — the ArtHamptons fair, which ran July 10–12. Located at the Bridgehampton Historical Society Grounds, this year's edition boasted some 65 international galleries selling modern and contemporary art and honored painter Jane Wilson and photographers Lillian Bassman and Elliott Erwitt with Lifetime Achievement Awards. ARTINFO visited over the weekend to check out some of the action.
