NORMAN, Okla.—Sculptor Daniel Edwards, whose works deal with celebrity in ways that are almost guaranteed to generate notoriety if not controversy, will probably not disappoint his admirers with his latest creation. Landmark for Breastfeeding, which goes on display next month at the Mainsite Contemporary Art Museum in Norman, Okla., shows the actress naked and double-breastfeeding her twins. Inspired by Jolie’s cover photograph for W magazine last year, the life-size work will travel next to an exhibition in London.

It’s familiar ground for the artist, whose Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston is a life-sized statue of Britney Spears giving birth while nude on her hands and knees on a bearskin rug. Then there’s Suri Cruise's Baby Poop Bronzed, supposedly a commentary on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's decision to hold back on releasing photos of their daughter to the public. Edwards also has a particular fascination with "dead" celebrities: He's also sculpted an Oprah Winfrey sarcophagus, Paris Hilton as a DUI victim, and Prince Harry as a deceased soldier.
