Through October 31 at its Madison Avenue outpost, Gagosian Gallery is displaying Mann’s latest series, "Proud Flesh," consisting of nude studies of her husband taken over six years. Accompanying the show is a catalogue (Aperture/Gagosian) with an introduction by the poet and author C. D. Wright. Mann’s Hephaestus graces the cover. A traveling solo exhibition, "The Family and the Land," is at the Hague Museum of Photography, through January 10, 2010, while the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is slated to reopen its renovated building next May with an exhibition of the native Virginian’s work "Family of Mann" originally appeared in the October 2009 issue of Art+Auction.
