Modern and Contemporary Art 194 lots sold for €478,960 ($685,766) PARIS—Gerhard Richter’s 1979 oil Abstraktes Bild proved that the artist is still a force to be reckoned with. The painting, from the collection of Liliane and Michel Durand-Dessert, soared past its high estimate, fetching €95,000 ($136,021).
