Michaelangelo Statue Departs French Embassy for the Met

Published: October 6, 2009
NEW YORK— A statue said to be an early work of Michaelangelo will cross the street from its current home in Manhattan's French Embassy and spend the next 10 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
