SANTA FE—The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum has picked Annie Leibovitz as the recipient of its Women of Distinction prize for 2010. Leibovitz follows a line of honorees including Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, journalist Gail Sheehy, and author Gloria Steinem. The museum chose to honor Leibovitz in recognition of her photography, which they feel has included some of the most famous portraits in recent history. She will receive the prize at a ceremony held on March 6.
