Scottish Modern and Contemporary Art 107 lots sold for £83,000 ($131,809) EDINBURGH—Top lot: Macduff Harbour — The Homecoming, John Bellany’s vibrant oil rendition of a Scottish port, sailed past its high estimate of £8,000 ($12,703) to pull in £12,400 ($19,695), which will be shared among four charities. The painter donated the image, which featured on the Scottish prime minister’s Christmas card last year, in honor of Homecoming Scotland 2009, events designed to lure those of Scottish ancestry back to visit.
