AMSTERDAM—Top Lot: The Dutch painter Auke Sonnega worked as a textile designer before moving to Bali after World War II, when he devoted himself to painting. Typical of his style of interweaving Art Deco influences with lush images of Indonesia, Balinese Dance (1952), fetched a sale-leading €32,200 ($46,489).
